Prayers needed
Tuesday we found out that my dad has cancer in his thyroids. Please pray with us for him and my mom as they start a new chapter in their lives.
This is their request pasted here by me.
Adam. Our prayer request:
Pray that we continue to have peace of mind as we learn to trust and obey GOD in this situation.
Pray also that we honor GOD in this and in all circumstances.
Thank you for your prayers!
The type of cancer is slow and treatable and will involve removal of thyroids.
Not sure if treatment after surgery
depends on what they find.
Miss u guys

Our kitten sized cat caught a rat!
Answered Prayers
Pouring or bucketing cement day went well. Mostly cloudy but no rain. Praise God for answered prayers!

Always Workin'
Just a little more checking and adjusting to finish out Wednesday. The metal working will be done so we can pour on Thursday if there is no rain and we have enough manpower to help us (hired help).
More Work
Putting braces in place to hold all the cement forms for pouring day.
Trouble with the Roof
Damage done to the kitchen roof during one of the strong rain storms. Good thing we have some tarps to hold us over until the new roof gets put on after we finish the cement work on the boy’s room. I guess my wish to take some time off construction when we got here didn’t and won’t happen for awhile. I thought that I was a bit burnt out getting the house ready to sell, I guess I was wrong.
Chicken Coop
Chicken coop done and all of them in it! One project complete.
Play Pets
This is what the cat and dog do while we work.

A Roof for the Chickens
Repurposing is what we do here, bathroom roof now the new longer term chicken house. The chickens need to be back inside a fenced in area soon. The rice is getting to the point where it can't have chickens in it anymore.
Fort Folkertsma
This is what the kids do when a coconut comes down. The last picture is of their new fort.
Making Supplies
This is what a coconut tree looks like when cut up into boards. The top part it's to soft to use for lumber so there is a bit of waste.
EVEN MORE BUGS!!!
Centipede or as they call it here ohipan. I guess these little guy's bites hurt really bad. I don't want to find out for myself so I'll take their word for it.
Another Amazing Sunset!
Progress
Putting a roof over the well is one of the projects we have going right now.
Dayton St.
Friday was a bittersweet day as the sale on our house was finalized. We now no longer own a home in GR but we got a great price. So many mixed emotions!
